If you're interested in becoming a part of the Breaker Football organization, there are several positions available for community members of a variety of backgrounds and demographics.
Players are the heart of the team. Without them, there is no team. Playing football is a great way to get in shape, build lasting relationships, and teach yourself discipline. Football is popular sport for many in Pacific Grove, and we'd love you to be a part of it. Freshman and Sophomores are eligible to play on the JV team and Sophomores, Juniors, and Senior are eligible to play on the varsity team.
*PGHS Student Grades 9-12
*GPA 2.0 or higher, no Fs
*Determination and commitment
*Upstanding citizen with good conduct
If you are interested in playing football next season, talk to Coach Morgan personally in room K-1.
Managers play an integral part of the football team. Managers handle most of the supportive services the teams receive. Managers handle equipment, operations, security, travel, film, and many other supportive services for the team.
*Be at least in the 9th grade (8th for some positions)
*GPA 2.0 or higher, no Fs
*Commitment of up to 18 weeks and limited availability all year
*Upstanding citizen with good character
*Community Service Hours

*Sports Information Director - (must have sufficient knowledge of football and moderate media/public relations knowledge)
Coaches provide structure to the players and positive coaches are critical to the success of our team.
*Must have prior coaching and/or participating experience in the game of football
*Ability to provide DOJ Fingerprint Clearance
*Valid CPR/AED/First Aid Card (preferred for volunteers)
*Mandated Reporter Certificate (received through district online training)

sideline aide (Water boy/ water girl/ ball boy/ ball girl)
For the younger community members, being a sideline aide can be a great way to get involved with the school they'll be going to in a few years. Sideline aides are a great help to players, who really appreciate the assistance the boys and girls give.
*Be at least 10 years old preferred (Grades 5 to 8)
*Must be in good academic standing with good conduct
*Must work all games committed to
*Must have reliable transportation for games (especially for road games)
*Free entrance to all games worked
*Community service available

Volunteers are an important part of any organization. Volunteers can provide a wide variety of services to the team not within their regular operations. We encourage anyone interested in volunteering to contact Coach Chris Morgan at firstname.lastname@example.org
